Worth knowing

A few things we steer you away from

You can still ask about these, but here is why we usually say no. It keeps your build on schedule and your inspection clean.

Lighting and electrical: Without a CSA, cUL or cETL mark, an inspector fails it. We only take these on when the factory is already certified.
Aluminum windows, railings and curtain wall: Anti-dumping duty and a 25% surtax can erase the savings.
Structural products: Beams, trusses and framing need an engineer's stamp. Buy them locally.
